SPECIAL REPORT - Parliament Shut Down Allows Papandreou & Papadimos To Go Scot Free

Conservatives were shocked on Wednesday after discovering that Prime Minister Antonis Samaras ordered the closure of the Greek Parliament about four weeks before it was originally scheduled. As expected -and rightfully so- the news caused fierce reactions from most of Greece's opposition parties, even though we all know that their amazement is just another theatrical show for our entertainment.

Basically the closure means that the scandalous Baltakos case is not going to be discussed in Parliament and neither is the Lagarde list scandal, the armaments scandal and a series of other scandals that have dominated the headlines over the past few months. Most importantly, the news also means that the limitation period of potential crimes that may have been conducted by the governments under George Papandreou and Lucas Papadimos will never be prosecuted!

This dear Frappers is what has stunned conservatives on Wednesday -especially those who remain true to the former leader Costas Karamanlis- because "we" know -and have suspected from the start- that Papandreou committed many crimes during his two short years of rule -as did his administration-. Firstly, we believe he worked underground -as Strauss Khan said- to throw our country into the arms of the IMF -months before he assumed power after toppling Karamanlis- and we believe the reports that claim that his main adviser -as implicated by the judicial system- knew about the assassination attempt against Karamanlis -meaning so did Papandreou-.

The news as to why the Parliament closed is totally incomprehensible to "us". It automatically allows us to assume that the Samaras government saved George Papandreou. What influenced Samaras to make this decision? What drove him to even allow for this to happen? Was he obligated to do so by the same dark forces that helped Papandreou rise to power? Do these include the same domestic forces that helped tumble the Karamanlis government? Or is he simply working for others, and not for our interests?

So many questions, and yet no answers.

We are overwhelmed with anger and disgust. We do not like extremes, and cannot tip the scales to the far right and the far left, but we now understand why millions of people world wide do not trust their governments and have decided to adopt these ideals. Our neutrality towards our political system has been vindicated for yet another time, and our respect and honor for the clarity, the statesmanship and leadership of Costas Karamanlis has grown even further.

Worse yet, there were even more scandals that needed to be discussed. According to the PressProject the cases against several MPs currently being examined by the Ethics Committee are also going to be suspended. These include requests to lift the parliamentary immunity of the Interior Minister Yiannis Michelakis, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, as well as Golden Dawn MP Elias Kassidiaris and even Independent MP (formerly of Independent Greeks) Vasilis Kapernaros. 

(Any person of sound, mind and body would now ask themselves: Wait a minute... Isn't far-right Golden Dawn spokesman Elias Kassidiaris supposedly bad for our health? After all... half of this party's parliamentary team was thrown into jail -and as we all know the government has been very adamant about persecuting GD, and especially Kassidiaris- so is it safe to assume that the shutdown of the Parliament is tied to the Baltakos case, or is it tied to other revelations that are still unknown to us and due to take the political world by storm again? By not explaining to us as to why he decided to give our MPs another three or four weeks of vacation this year, the Samaras administration clearly gives us the right to assume many things. This little detail, might of been overlooked by the Greek mainstream media, but it is quite a stunning detail and allows for bad criticism.)

This specific press report notes that Michelakis has been accused of receiving bribes in order to operate in parliament on behalf of the ship owner Anastasio Pallis, while Georgiadis has been accused of interfering in the justice system. Kassidiaris, on the other hand, faces charges related to the Baltakos case and making unauthorized recordings, while Kapernaros is accused of tax evasion. 

(And we ask: If you and/or we committed a crime, could we refuse to talk about it and then walk scot free? The answer is obvious: NO. Is that how democracies function? Or better yet is this how the nation that gave the world democracy should function?)

Of course no one took it upon themselves to explain why Samaras came to such a decision, and the statements that were made by a handful of puppets in the government were not convincing - because if our memory serves us correctly the President of Parliament Evangelos Meimarakis recently stated that there was no reason to shut down earlier-.

Some Leftist news reports -who are more concentrated on promoting Alexis Tsipras and his new SYRIZA party- on Thursday claimed that Samaras simply wants to take advantage of the summer sessions in order to pass a number of critical bills. It should be noted that during the summer sessions only 100 MPs participate in proceedings, with each party choosing which of its MPs are going to participate. Leftists claim that this session makes it easier for the coalition government to pass critical bills by avoiding any dissent from within its ranks. This too is not convincing to us since all the Leftist forces of this country base their ideology around Greece's economy and nothing else. Have you ever heard them address a national issue? An issue about energy? An issue about society? Their discussions always center around the rights of the public sector. So although they make a point, they make no sense in their argument either and therefore only allow us to assume that the closure is beneficial to them as well, especially now that our economy is slowly getting back on track.

Speaking about SYRIZA and theatrical shows, the party said that the move is a trick to avoid key parliamentary debates.

(If we take their argument to heart then we would also have to accept that they were ready to provoke some sort of controversial debate (s), correct?)

Back to our main dilemma.  What forces influenced Samaras to make this decision and allow his fame, with his own followers, to be questioned? It makes no sense to us here at HellasFrappe and we cannot cheer ND on for making such a decision.The only thing that we can say is "Itheste and Patheste" (meaning that everything you wish for will happen to you) and whatever happens hereafter from within his own party will be his sole responsibility.

It is not because we get pleasure out of seeing Special Courts, trials and/or punishment being slapped at specific people and/or our politicians, but we are entitled as a people to know what happened prior to our entrance into the IMF. And Samaras is obligated to investigate this. Besides, this was his promise to us, and as conservatives, we lay our trust in him.

If you are thinking that the justice system can take over and continue probing, think again. We must not forget that our justice system follows the provisions and articles that are stipulated in the Greek Constitution, and cannot devise its own regulations. If it is bound to these regulations it cannot begin peeling away at something that cannot be punished.

That's because under the present Constitution, the Greek Parliament had a time limit to investigate and/or prosecute the ministers of that period, or until the end of the Second Session. As revealed by the "PARAPOLITIKA" newspaper, a total of 82 cases will not be investigated including all the cases against Papandreou -and there are many as reports claim-, as well as Papadimos, but most importantly Parliament will never discuss what prompted Papandreou's PASOK party, George Karatzaferis' LAOS party and Dora Bakoyianni to sign the first Memorandum -which was the foundation for all the austerity that followed-.

(Specifically, and in accordance to paragraph 3 in Article 86 of the Greek Constitution -on the responsibilities of ministers- Parliament may only exercise its jurisdiction until the end of the second regular session of the members, and according to Article 64 of the Constitution, the second ordinary session just ended. This clearly means that we cannot seek justice in the case of Papapandreou because the session began in June 2012, or at the end of the Papadimos/Papandreou governments. So any type of criminal activity that can surface from hereafter is complete impunity due to this limitation.)

And all this on account of Evangelos Venizelos who devised these Articles in the Greek Constitution in the 90s. As upsetting as it is, the justice system cannot prosecute Papandreou for all the crimes that we suspect he has committed against our country, nor can they probe the dealings of his Trilateral buddy Lucas Papadimos -who we all know was clearly appointed as PM by our creditors-.

Shame... And we wanted to lay our trust in Antonis Samaras, we believed he was a man that would eventually stand out and make the difference that would reshape our political system and clean it from bottom up, but it is quite evident that he is just another puppet that was placed in this position to continue the barbaric raping and pillaging of our nation from foreign oligarchs that were forced on us by Papandreou and his hedge fund cronies, as well as all the forces that supported his rise to fame. And before you begin pointing to SYRIZA as a solution, we propose that you should think twice. Alexis Tsipras is not the answer, nor is his party, since they too have embraced the same forces that helped Papandreou rise to fame and today -as revealed in many reports here on HellasFrappe - are working around the clock to bring good old George and all his cronies to the forefront once more.

We should not be misunderstood either. We are in no way supporting Evangelos Venizelos, because we support the theory that PASOK must be allowed to crash -and crash hard- for all the crimes that they have committed against this country. And we do not support Panos Kammenos, the Golden Dawn party, DIMAR, etc., etc, but we only support justice, transparency and the truth.

Whatever the case, we should not despair. The present Greek Constitution may be clear, but it is in our hands Frappers to change it. Obviously there are forces working against this nation, and perhaps it is these very entities that are not allowing the Samaras government to move ahead with prosecuting people such as Papandreou and Papadimos, but this does not mean that we have to accept it.

We can easily reverse this situation to our favor and finally surface the reasons why our nation was handed over to the Troika. If we all push for a change in the Greek Constitution and allow for a new one to be established then we can finally send all these "Ellinarades" (wannabe Greeks or Anti-Hellenes) exactly where they should be. We must not accept a revision, as already proposed, but a complete change of the Constitution. We here at HellasFrappe also propose that the President of the Republic be given responsibilities -as in France, and/or Russia for example- and he should only be elected by the people and not by a band of 300 merry men who clearly have no clue on how our society actually functions and/or works.

To this end, we also want to note that we do not trust some recent press reports claiming that Samaras has been meeting up with the former leader of the conservative party Costas Karamanlis. We find it very difficult to believe that Karamanlis has embraced the events that have unfolded over the last few years in our political system, and we also find it very difficult to consume that he would allow people such as Papandreou to walk scot free -especially since he knows that he knew about the attempted assassination against him-.

His neutrality throughout this whole horror show is also something else that we must question, because it automatically tells us that something else is about to happen...

ING: Spain Will Be Crowned Soccer Champions At World Cup in Brazil

The whole world is dancing to a wild soccer samba beat, or is in a heated betting mood, and this even includes the economists at ING. According to an article in the Wall Street Journal,  they have even attempted to predict which team is going to win the world soccer tournament, that is set to kick off in Brazil next week, based on the market value of each national team's squad.

The article in WSJ claims that to determine the market value of each team, the economists in ING used the transfer value of every member of the 23-man squads. According to the ING chart calculations, Spain should win the World Cup in Brazil followed by Germany and Brazil.

A couple of days ago Goldman Sachs economists also made their own predictions, but they instead based their forecast on past performances claiming that Brazil will lift the trophy.

Google Finally Launches Greek Street View Maps

Google launched its Street View map service in Greece after winning approval from the privacy authority that blocked the map application five years ago. It should be reminded that in 2009, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (DPA) blocked the creation of the ground-level map, but had given permission to the tech giant to collect the photos for Street View.

Officials at Google said that following “extensive and detailed” negotiations with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, the objections were finally lifted.

Attending the launch event, Minister of Culture Panos Panagiotopoulos was quoted by reporters as saying that the map service can hale Greece's tourism industry by giving tourists a great virtual experience.

Earliest Images of Jesus’ Unearthed in Egyptian Tomb

A team of Catalan archaeologists believes it has unearthed one of the earliest images of Jesus Christ buried deep in an ancient Egyptian tomb.

Experts at the University of Barcelona discovered an underground structure in the ancient Egyptian city of Oxyrhynchu which may have acted as a resting place for a number of priests.

More than 45 tonnes of rock had to be moved in order to access the hidden room. Another unidentified structure found nearby during this process is currently being investigated.

Once inside, the team found five or six coats of paint on the walls, the last of which was from the Coptic period of the first Christians.

The underground structure was also reportedly decorated with Coptic images and may contain one of the earliest-known representations of Jesus Christ, The Local has reported.

Dr Josep Padró, the Emeritus Professor at the University of Barcelona who led the expedition, described the find as “exceptional”.

He told the La Vanguardia newspaper that the figure is that of “a young man with curly hair, dressed in a short tunic and with his hand raised as if giving a blessing”.

“We could be dealing with a very early image of Jesus Christ,” he added.

Aristotle's Lyceum Finally Opens Doors To Public

The site, containing the remains of Aristotle's Lyceum, officially opened its doors to the public on Wednesday, and is now ready to receive visitors from 8:00-20:00 every day. According to the state owned ANA/MPA news service, this new and significant addition to the city's archaeological sites, which adds 1.1 hectares of open land to the capital's public spaces, can be accessed either from the entrance on Rigillis Street or from the Byzantine and Archaeological Museum on Vassilisis Sofias Avenue.

The Lyceum was founded by the famous ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle in 334-5 B.C. when his former pupil Alexander the Great had embarked on his wars of conquest in Asia. It was one of the three famous ancient schools of Athens, along with Plato's Academy and the Cynosarges Gymnasium, where he taught his so-called Peripatetic Scholars just outside the city walls, between the rivers Eridanos and Ilissos.

The area also had two temples, dedicated to Hercules and Apollo Lyceus, the latter of which gave its name to Aristotle's school.

The site was first opened to the public a month ago, for a tour forming part of the Greek Cultural Routes events organised by the culture and sports ministry. The remains on the site, covered by protective canopies, include a section of a Roman-era wrestling arena and gymnasium, a well, tank and underfloor heating system delineating rooms. (ANA/MPA)

Gen.Secretary Of Public Revenues Hand Over Resignation

Finance Minister Yiannis Stournaras announced that he has accepted the resignation of Haris Theocharis, General Secretary of Public Revenue following a meeting at the Finance Ministry. The top tax official has said that he is leaving for 'personal reasons' although many are linking the move to the imminent government reshuffle.

The announcement from the Ministry thanked Mr Theocharis for his service, noting that he had taken over the leadership of the Revenue service under difficult circumstances after the position had been left vacant for over a year and during the peak of the fiscal crisis.

Mr Stournaras was quoted as saying that Theocharis had ‘systematically surpassed targets’ despite having to effectively rebuild the customs and tax system from scratch which was ‘reflected in the positive budgetary results.’

Theocharis’s departure was announced following a meeting with Mr Stournaras and Nikos Karavitis who had been speculated to take over the position a year ago. Stavros Papastavrou, a close aide to Antonis Samaras who has also been mentioned as a potential successor for Stournaras, was also present at the meeting

“I am leaving with my head held high, I can’t lift my head any higher,” Mr Theocharis was reported to have said following the announcement, evidently moved with tears in his eyes. “I did not take any of the measures,” he said referring to the painful tax hikes, the implementation of which he oversaw. “Not a single measure. All measures are taken by the democratically elected government and the parliament. My job was to implement them. That was my job, to take over a revenue administration relatively in ruins. The evaluation which will happen will be incomparably high.”

Prior to the announcement speculation had been rife over the likelihood of Mr Theocharis’s departure, with many linking the probable move to the government reshuffle which is expected to be announced on Tuesday and a key point of which will likely be a change in leadership of the Finance Ministry. Various leaks had already indicated that the reshuffle would involve not only cabinet positions but state agencies as well. At the meeting between Stournaras and Theocharis, Nikos Karavitis was also present who had been mentioned as a possible candidate for the position a year ago.

However rumours that Mr Theocharis would be replaced reportedly angered the European Commission according to capital.gr, who see the move as unacceptable political interference in the revenue service. According to the report the commission viewed Mr Theocharis favourably as he had done “exceptional work during a very difficult time in Greece where taxes needed to be collected.”

The general secretary of the revenue service was appointed in January 2013 and had been given a fixed 5-year term which could only be terminated through resignation or in the event of serious wrongdoing. This was in order to ensure the political independence of the revenue service. The troika has reportedly communicated to the government its concern over the potential replacement of Mr Theocharis. The timing of the departure is such that it appears related to the wider government reshuffle currently being discussed.

According to Vima.gr, citing government sources, Theocharis’s departure was no great surprise as his relationship with the administration had become strained. According to the newspaper, the General Secretary had felt that he was being made an easy scapegoat for the failure of government policies. The government for its part was irritated at certain initiatives taken by the revenue service under his leadership, which it felt had cost it politically.

For his part the departing general secretary claimed that the decision to resign was his own. “I am resigning because I have to resign. No one is in a position to ask for my resignation. The time has come when a job has been done and you pass the baton to the next person. I am not a sacrificial victim. For those who feel that something has gone wrong should look at their own policies. I didn’t have anything holding me back. I made an effort and some mistakes.”

When asked why he had not succeeded in chasing major tax dodgers his said that the pursuit of tax evasion was the most difficult task. “When there are no processes and structures everything must be fixed before you can begin to chase down major tax evaders, because major tax evasion has big weapons and big lawyers.”

Conspiracy or Truth - Pope Francis Pushes For One World Religion - West In Panic

In his weekly geopolitical analysis, Benjamin Fulford says that during his recent trip to the Middle East, Pope Francis was able to get agreement from Muslim and Jewish authorities for a unified monotheism but was unable to convince the Orthodox Christians, according to P2 Freemason sources.

These 15 quadrillion dollar bonds are supposed to be backed by “King Solomon’s tunnel of gold,” according to the P2.

The White Dragon Society suggested to the P2 that they start by bringing just one kilo of gold to generate cash to bring over more kilos of this mythical gold. The WDS also suggested the Orthodox Christians might be more open minded about unity when the mass murder stops in places like Syria, the Ukraine, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sources at the Pentagon and the CIA however, think that Obama will be impeached long before his term ends.

The CIA says that last week agency white hats stopped an Obama plan to use mass casualty terror attacks in Las Vegas, Texas and Washington D.C. as an excuse to start martial law.

     “Fourteen of those involved on Obama’s side (terrorists) were killed very quietly,” a senior CIA source said. Impeachment proceedings against Obama have now started, he said.

The resignation of Veteran Affairs head Eric Shinseki removed a major Obama ally in the Pentagon and that “as of this point, there is no evidence Obama has any backing at all,” a senior Pentagon source said.

It also turns out, according to a Japanese government source, that Obama was only able to scrounge up $9 billion on his recent begging trip to Japan.

Obama this week will be visiting Europe this week for a G7 meeting that was originally supposed to have been a G8 held in Russia. Then it was decided to use the Ukrainian psy-ops as an excuse to cancel the Russian G8 summit and have a European G7 summit instead. Now it turns out Russian President Vladimir Putin will be invited too, but, technically, not as part of the G8 but to celebrate the 70Th anniversary of D-day.

The Western elites have been having a lot of such urgent meetings recently, and have more urgent meetings scheduled, presumably to find a way to stave off revolution. The Bilderberg meeting held over last weekend in Denmark was thoroughly leaked to the press in what seems to be an attempt by the Bilderbergers to appear more open.

This attempt to appear open because, as an MI5 source put it:

     “the mask is slipping and it is now becoming obvious that the political process in Brussels is only a facade to distract the sheeple whilst the Comission (Commisariat) leads the bureaucracy in imposing collective policy.”

     “The importance of the EU project for the cabal was to enable Europe to become a currency block which is a big step to facilitating a one world electronic credit system,” he added.

However, voters in both in the UK and France now overwhelmingly support parties that oppose this process.

Marine Le Pen of France’s victorious Front National has vowed to take France out of the Euro and break up EU power.

And here is what Ambrose Evans-Pritchard of the Telegraph had to say about the victory of the UK Independence Party in the recent European election:

     “If Europe’s policy elites could not quite believe it before, they must now know beyond much doubt that they have lost Britain. This island is no longer part of the European project in any meaningful sense.”

In the UK there is also now a big move to remove the Nazi/Zionist influence centered around former Prime Minister Tony Blair, former MI6 head Sir John Scarlett and Chief Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremey Heywood.

This was very interesting for me to read because I knew both Naoto Kan and Shinzo Abe before they became Prime Ministers in Japan and the same thing happened to them. They became like robots who were not acting in accordance with their own free will but rather by remote conrtol.

In any case, the impeding fall of the Nazi/Zionists in the UK and the US means Germany, where support for the EU is strongest, will have to look to Russia, instead of to France and the UK, if it wants to continue big European integration projects. Germany’s Chancellor Merkel and Russia’s Putin have known each other for a long time, speak each other’s languages and are working towards some big deal, according to WDS sources in Russia.

This is closely connected to the Russian gas bill deadline to the Ukraine. The Ukraine cannot pay, the IMF has offered to pay but apparently has no money, the Americans can’t pay so, something has to give. It could well be that Germany will join the Russian/Chinese BRICS alliance.

These big public changes in power and big meetings like Bilderberg, the G7 and others are accompanied by lots of activity in the esoteric part of the financial system.

Last week, in addition to the Vatican bank bonds above and the fake Kennedy bonds mentioned earlier, a group approached the WDS saying, with refreshing honesty, that, “we do not have any gold but we do have a dollar printing machines, is there anything we can do with that?” The approach came via a South Korean group to a communist Chinese government representative in Tokyo.

The Swiss-Indo group also tried again last week to cash historical bonds while, like the P2, telling stories of vast hoards of gold, but not offering any proof.

Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister Abe of Japan are also trying to cash big bonds, according to a Dragon family representative.

The Chinese, for their part, have also made a big move by ordering all their banks to remove US made computers because they have back doors that allow US agencies like the NSA to steal Chinese money.

The WDS has suggested that in order to break the deadlock at the highest ranks of finance, that an entirely new agency, with vast funds at its disposal, be created to plan how to create an ideal planet. It will be run in transparently and humanity as a whole will participate in deciding how to use the agency’s money for the greater good.

BUSTED - Wikileaks Cable Proves That US Knew What Was At Stake For Ukraine Since 2008

A Wikileaks cable that was featured in the Greek press on Thursday and dated February 1st, 2008 under code 08MOSCOW265_a, clearly -and without a shadow of a doubt- proves that the United States was fully aware of what a pro-western pull on the Ukraine would mean in the long-term.

The message was sent as confidential by US ambassador to Moscow William J. Burns, to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, NATO – European Union Cooperative, the National Security Council, Russia Moscow Political Collective, the US Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State. (quite interestingly, Burns had also served as US Ambassador to Athens in the early 90s.)

In the controversial message the ambassador notes that the situation has been spelled out by Russian FM Sergei Lavrov of what it would mean for the Ukraine to be drawn further into a western sphere of influence.

The document lists as its subject: “NYET MEANS NYET: RUSSIA'S NATO ENLARGEMENT REDLINES.”

As explained in the document summary, “following a muted first reaction to Ukraine's intent to seek a NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) at the Bucharest summit, Foreign Minister Lavrov and other senior officials have reiterated strong opposition, stressing that Russia would view further eastward expansion as a potential military threat. NATO enlargement, particularly to Ukraine, remains "an emotional and neuralgic" issue for Russia, but strategic policy considerations also underlie strong opposition to NATO membership for Ukraine and Georgia.

Particularly for Ukraine, these include fears that the issue could potentially split the country in two, leading to violence or even, some claim, civil war, which would in return force Russia to decide whether to intervene.

Additionally, the GOR and experts continue to claim that Ukrainian NATO membership would have a major impact on Russia's defense industry, Russian-Ukrainian family connections, and bilateral relations generally.

Basically it shows that Sergei Lavgrov warned the US -SIX YEARS AGO- that the Russian bear was convinced that enlargement was not based on security reasons, but was a legacy of the Cold War.

The cable basically proves that the West was well aware of what was at stake if they pursued NATO expansion towards the East, or in this case in the Ukraine, but they nonetheless continued to do so.
